MELTIO ENGINE ROBOT BY ACNS

A “turnkey” solution  for a robotic cell that is affordable and accessible to users without specialist WLAM process knowledge. It is based on Meltio’s “engine robot” system, for which we became the official reseller in France in 2024.

How the Meltio head works

The Meltio Engine Blue system’s 3D printing head features a system of 9 blue 450 nm lasers with direct diodes, delivering a combined power of up to 1000 W. This technology enables greater absorption and energy efficiency . This makes it easy to achieve a deposition rate equivalent to previous technologies (Meltio Engine IR) at lower power. It also opens up the possibility of using a wider range of materials. In addition, the internal water-cooling system lets you run long production sessions with confidence.


The wire feed system is driven by four-point traction servo feeders, guiding the wire through feed liners without friction. A system increases the wire feed speed if the weld pool loses continuity. This process ensures high metallurgical quality throughout production.
